Häagen-Dazs Japan Inc. announced the release of two new Häagen-Dazs mini cup ice cream flavors named Spoon Vege in flavors Cherry Tomato and Carrot Orange.
According to the news release, the cherry tomato flavor features the sweetness of tomatoes combined with the acidity and fruity aroma of cherries helping to accentuate the tomato flavor. The carrot orange flavor features the distinct flavor of carrot combined with the bright citrus notes of oranges, offering a refreshing twist.
The two ice creams, which were released in May, contain only 8.5% milk fat, which is only a little over half what Häagen-Dazs ice cream usually contains. Both flavors are currently available in supermarkets, convenience stores, and department stores across Japan.
