Who Will Be Florida’s next Woman of the Year in Agriculture?
For more than 30 years, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) has recognized women in all areas of the farming industry who have made outstanding contributions to the farming industry with its Woman of the Year in Agriculture award. The time has come to find the next honoree.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 Woman of the Year in Agriculture award. Sponsored by the FDACS, in conjunction with the Florida State Fair Authority, the award is presented to the recipient during the Florida State Fair in Tampa.
Last year’s winner, Judi Whitson, was recognized for her dedication to fostering the state’s future farmers.
Nominations may be submitted in three ways:

The deadline for submitting nominations is June 1.
