Alfaro (SEEDWAY, LLC)
This new mid-early red cabbage has a medium-to-large sized, deep-red, dense head. The wrap leaves are easy to trim off. Matures in 74 days.
New and limited variety with a productive, healthy, and attractive plant. ‘Bejo 3610’ is highly productive. A widely adapted cabbage suitable for boxing and processing. The vigorous plant has a tight internal structure and a short core.

‘Cali’ is an early flexible cabbage that works well in Summer and Autumn. The round, uniform, green attractive heads are well covered. The heads average 3 to 5 pounds. A perfect variety for green fresh market. Matures in 80 days, from transplant.
‘Celebrate’ has a medium-to-large, blue-green frame. The plant habit supports head sizing with minimal lodging. The wrap leaves provide good head cover, and has an attractive round, compact head development. A well adapted variety for fall and winter season. A good uniformity for type and maturity with high yield potential. ‘Celebrate’ is best for fresh and process markets. Matures in 80 to 85 days.
An attractive green-to-blue-green color with very round heads, dense solid interior and a short core. ‘Grand Vantage’ has excellent tight wrapper leaves, a strong frame, and good holding ability. This hybrid has excellent yield potential. The average weight is 5 to 6 pounds. Matures in 80 to 85 days.
‘Osceola’ is a large, green cabbage that serves dual purpose (for processor and fresh market). This cabbage has a vigorous plant frame, good field holding, and mid-late maturity. 70 to 80 days from transplant, and 85 to 90 days from direct seed.

‘Piccolima RZ’ is a mini-pointed,green hybrid variety, and part of the cabbisi™ marketing concept: an innovation in the salad category. ‘Piccolima RZ’ is very suitable for high-density cultivation, easy-to-harvest, cut and clean. It can be grown year round, (including overwintering) in moderate and continental climates. Recommended harvest weight of 150 -350 grams. Matures in 50 to 65 days, depending on growing conditions.
‘Promise’ is fantastic right out of the field, or after long-term storage. Juicy, tender, sweet leaves — the best flavor in Johnny’s storage cabbage taste tests. The dense heads are held high above the ground, which allows for good air circulation and reduced disease pressure. The heads average 6.5 pounds, at 18 inch spacing, and 9 to 10 pounds at 24 inch spacing. Excellent for slaws, cooking, and sauerkraut. Growers of Storage No. 4 will love this exciting new variety. ‘Respecta’ has an attractive, smooth, medium-green head. It’s smaller and denser than ‘Gunma’. This variety is quite clean and not prone to rot. The average weight is 3.5 to 4.5 pounds, and is 8 inches to 10 inches across. ‘Respecta’ has very good flavor, and tender texture. The leaves have an even thickness. It’s suitable for early summer and short storage crops. Matures in 72 days.
‘Ruby Perfection’ has a deep red, globe-shaped head, with head weight approximately 3.5 pounds. It’s very late to burst, this variety produces solid heads with good uniformity. Good field-holding ability. Recommended for early-to-late fall harvest for medium-term storage. Rich color and excellent fill make it ideal for shredding. Matures 80 days from transplant.
