The World Ag Expo’s Top New Products for 2025
February 12, 2025 The World Ag Expo named its top 10 new products of 2025 in advance of its annual trade show, held Feb. 11-13 in Tulare, CA. Show exhibitors had nominated the first round of contestants and their new products, which ranged from simple solutions to high-tech devices. Contest judges — farmers, ranchers, and industry professionals — narrowed the field to the 10 winning products, including these five that cater to commercial vegetable growers:
Garford Electric Weeder, Garford Farm Machinery (Brooklyn Park, MN)

The Garford Electric Weeder brings electric weeding technology to salad, brassica, and vegetable crop applications. It was developed from a collaboration between Garford Farm Machinery, the UK manufacturer of technologically advanced mechanical weed control, and RootWave, the UK electrical weed control manufacturer. It represents an industry solution that combines best-in-class power electronics, imaging, and artificial intelligence to create what Garford calls an unrivaled weed control solution for row crops.
Pelican Spray, Pyka (Alameda, CA)

Pelican Spray is an autonomous electric crop spray unmanned aircraft system (UAS) that uses a combination of precision spray and drift reduction technologies to optimize chemical output and reduce costs for growers. The aircraft is fully automated, can be easily controlled from a laptop computer, and can fly and spray both during the day and at night. Newly redesigned for 2025, the next-generation model boasts a heavier payload, higher productivity, and commercially proven reliability in the field.
Pollination Insight Platform, BeeHero (Del Rey, CA)

The Ecorobotix ARA Ultra-High Precision Sprayer represents a transformative advancement for the agriculture industry, the company says.
