John Deere Adds Three New Tractors

John Deere is adding three new models to its fleet of 6R Series Tractors for use on the farm or ranch. These models include the 6105R with a 105-horsepower engine, the 6115R with a 115-horsepower engine and the 6125R with a 125-horsepower engine. This new line replaces the 6030 Premium Tractors.
The new 6R Series Tractors are meant to be a one-size-fits-all utility tractor, explains Scott Hessel, product marketing manager with John Deere.
The cab of the new models is 20% larger and features a GreenStar 3 Command Center touchscreen display, as well. In addition, the tractors have Triple Link and Adaptive Hydraulic Cab suspension for optimal comfort. As far as functionality is concerned, the hydraulic lift of this model is 20% greater and a 50K transmission option gives this tractor the feel of a larger machine.
Hessel explains that all three 6R models come with John Deere 4.5L PowerTech PVX Interim Tier 4 diesel engines with Intelligent Power Management. This system provides an additional 20 horsepower for transportation purposes and non-stationary PTO applications.
Other transmission options include a 24-speed AutoQuad Plus ECO Transmission, which is a standard, or a 16-speed PowerQuad Plus, an optional feature. Another optional feature is the IVT Trasmission. Both the IVT and AutoQuad Plus configurations are available with up to 50K speed.
These tractors also pair well with the new H-Series Loaders and other John Deere and Frontier attachments.
“These 105 to 125 horsepower models expand our lineup of the 6R Series that we introduced in 2011 and give customers a wider range of tractors to choose from based on their needs,” adds Hessel.
