The PS614 Two-Row Plastic Mulch Retriever from Ruskin, FL-based Kennco is built to take on double duty. The PS614 has the ability to work on two beds at once and can remove old plastic mulch and drip tape from narrow beds and row centers up to 50 inches. Plastic is lifted and wrapped around hydraulically driven tapered drums and can be dropped at the end of a row for disposal. Depending on the amount of soil and plant material picked up with the plastic, the PS614 can roll up to 6,000 feet of plastic before having to release it. The unit can be adjusted to remove plastic from wider beds one row at a time.

PMR Industries Plastic Mulch Retriever

The Plastic Mulch Retriever (PMR) from PMR Industries LLC, an affiliate of Australia-based Rocca Manufacturing Pty Ltd., saves time and labor costs by lifting, cleaning, and rolling plastic agricultural mulch in a single pass. The PMR is built for towing behind a tractor and operates at speeds around 5 miles per hour. As the PMR lifts the plastic away from the soil, the knocker wheel shakers help remove the trash while the plastic runs over the rattle bars leading to the rear spool.
