Certis USA recently announced three key additions to its team of company leaders. Chris Judd has joined as Global VP of Marketing; Joshua Kim will help drive the manufacturing group in the position of Supply Chain Manager; and Rob Gibson has come aboard as Global Portfolio Manager.

Judd previously held marketing roles within BASF and Novozymes where he led global growth and asset management in bringing new products to market and evaluating existing assets for maximum value proposition.

“With the addition of Chris’ expertise in marketing, we will be able to provide even more answers to growers across a variety of crop categories and position our continued innovation to address customers’ future needs even more quickly,” says Amy O’Shea, Certis President & CEO.

“Biological solutions are increasingly becoming more integral to growers who need more tools than ever to protect their crops, their investments and their livelihoods,” Judd says. “Being able to bring my experience to Certis to help them manage the products they already have and the innovation they have pioneered over two decades is an honor. I am glad to be able to serve growers and the global food supply chain in this way.”

As supply chain manager, Kim will helm the biologicals leader’s efforts in managing supplies of their broad portfolio of solutions across global markets.

Kim brings experience in supply chains from work with BASF as Field Analyst, PPG as Operations Planning Supervisor, and at Synthomer as Global Demand Manager. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional and is certified in production and inventory management from the Association for Supply Chain Management.

Certis USA currently manufactures an extensive portfolio of biological control solutions like insecticides, miticides, herbicides, fungicides and bactericides for growers at three facilities, two domestic and one international, and distributes to more than 50 countries globally through a network of channel partners.

“I am looking forward to consistently ensuring that those products are in the areas they need to be so that growers can utilize them to protect their crops when they need them most,” Kim says. “Bridging manufacturing and our distribution channels across all territories globally and domestically is vital to continuing to meet our customers where they are with the solution they need when they need it.”

Gibson will focus his marketing efforts across Certis’ broad biological portfolio, ensuring that growers and supply channel partners domestically and globally have the biological solution they need available when they need it.
