Several organizations partner with MI-FMAT to distribute the directory, including 13 welcome centers, the Michigan Farm Bureau, and the Michigan Apple Committee. This year, MI-FMAT was also awarded a Specialty Crop Block Grant that will help expand the size and scope of distribution at hotels across the state.
For 2010, sales of new listings (at a cost of $100_ are ahead of pace, and “the goal is to have printed copies available in May when asparagus introduces the Michigan farm market season,” according to MI-FMAT president Steve Tennes.
