Terhune Orchards Recognized With Farm Marketing Award

The New Jersey Agricultural Society recognized Terhune Orchards for excellence with its Farm Marketing Award. Terhune Orchards is owned by Gary Mount, a past recipient of American/Western Fruit Grower’s Apple Grower of the Year award, and his wife Pam. The Farm Marketing Award was presented to the Mounts at the New Jersey Agricultural Convention in February.

The Mounts and their daughter, Tannwen, farm 200 acres of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs in Princeton, NJ. The Terhune Orchards farm market is open year round, and the Mounts sell their produce at other community farm markets as well. Since the Mounts first took ownership of the farm in 1975, Terhune Orchards has become the local hot spot for fresh fruit and vegetables, a fruit U-Pick business, cider, bakery items, and a series of farm festivals. Over ½ a million customers visit the farm each year.
