What to Know About Yara North America’s 2 New Biostimulant Products for U.S. Growers

Tampa, FL-based Yara North America has announced the U.S. commercial availability of two biostimulant solutions — YaraAmplix PROCOTE OPTIMIZE and YaraAmplix OPTITRAC. Developed to work alongside crop nutrition programs, the new technologies help growers improve nutrient efficiency, strengthen crop resilience, and unlock greater productivity from every acre.

YaraAmplix PROCOTE OPTIMIZE and YaraAmplix OPTITRAC enter the U.S. market following more than 10 years of research and development, extensive multiyear global trials, and four years of U.S. field trials evaluating performance across diverse growing conditions and crops.

• YaraAmplix PROCOTE OPTIMIZE is a biostimulant fertilizer coating that helps protect applied phosphorus and unlock phosphorus tied up in the soil. Applied directly to fertilizer granules by retailers, it uses Yara’s proprietary PROCOTE coating technology to ensure even distribution. U.S. trials across multiple crops demonstrated strong returns on investment, including 6:1 in corn and 7:1 in potatoes.
• YaraAmplix OPTITRAC is a liquid, foliar-applied biostimulant that helps crops manage the effects of abiotic stress during periods of high demand. Trials across North America demonstrated strong returns on investment, including 15:1 in potatoes and 3:1 in wheat.
