Meet the New Editor of American Vegetable Grower Magazine

Reliability, stability, and experience are important qualities for you as a commercial vegetable producer. They’re just as important for us here at American Vegetable Grower®. You’ve seen that for the last eight years under the editorial leadership of Rosemary Gordon.

But another important quality is the ability to adapt as the world changes around you. And as your business and the information and services you need evolve, we are evolving too. We’ve broadened our offerings far beyond just a monthly magazine into websites, e-newsletters, and other digital platforms. We have also launched a number of events, including VegetableGrowerConnect, the Biocontrols Conference & Expo Series, and more developments we’ll be sharing with you soon. In response, we have asked Rosemary to take on a broader role in this rapidly growing area of our business. In the new position of Editor, Grower Programs and Events, she will be working on fresh ways to bring you the tools you need to grow your business.

And that change means I also have the pleasure of introducing you to our new Editor of American Vegetable Grower, Carol Miller.

You’re probably already familiar with Carol and her coverage of the retail side of your business as part of our American Farm Marketer project in 2016. She brings with her the experience and resources she’s developed as a lead editor for nearly two decades, including the last five working with American Vegetable Grower and some of our sister publications, Greenhouse Grower, and Today’s Garden Center.

You’ll notice immediately that Carol brings a commitment to dig deep to uncover the information you need as a grower, and the creativity to bring it to you in new and useful ways.
Carol, along with Rosemary, Managing Editor/Senior Online Editor Paul Rusnak, Contributing Editor David Eddy, and Art Director Wally Edwards will continue to deliver that same reliability, stability, and experience you have come to depend on from our American Vegetable Grower team.
