According to Kennco Manufacturing, its BP 325 ditch plow makes a narrow irrigation ditch and distributes the displaced soil evenly on both sides of the ditch in one pass. The company’s standard plow is designed to dig a ditch 10 inches deep and 16 inches wide. Ditch dimensions will vary with adjustments to the three-point hitch, along with changing soil and environmental conditions.

As the ditcher works, it spreads displaced soil anywhere from 3 feet  to 41/2 feet to either side of the ditch. The operator can adjust the distance at which the soil is spread. Box blade attachments are available for use when the plow re-sweeps a ditch. The attachments level the newly displaced soil beside the ditch without throwing it against the side of the bed or allowing it to fall back into the ditch.

The DT55 Powered Ditcher is a versatile tool to use in many water control applications. The DT55 allows for cleaning water ditches along roadsides or in farm fields to drain standing water. The 20-inch impeller leaves a clean and sculptured ditch to keep water flowing freely from unwanted areas. With the optional Material Control Chute in place, dirt can be placed just next to the machine, or thrown many feet away to reshape terraces. An optional 4-foot blade can be attached to aid in reshaping terraces and grader ditches.

The ditcher fits a wide variety of tractors from 70 horsepower and up. It also may be attached easily by one person. The DT55 is constructed out of durable materials for long life.

The XR-Series (XR-14 to XR-35) trenchers can dig deep and wide, according to user-needs. The XR-14 can dig to depths of 2 to 4 feet and widths of 6 to 12 inches. The largest unit XR-35 can dig to a depth of 5 feet and is designed for loaders with larger hydraulic systems.
