Fungicide Receives California Registration

SipcamAdvan and Isagro USA have announced the California registration of Tenet biological fungicide. Tenet WP can be used on most crops, including fruiting vegetables, leafy vegetables, and cucurbits, and offers disease protection against root and collar rot diseases caused by Phythopthora capsici, Rhizoctonia, Pythium and Fusarium. It was developed by researchers at Isagro in Europe and developed and tested in a wide range of crops in the U.S.

A second-generation biorational fungicide, Tenet contains two natural strains of microbes, Trichoderma asperellum and Trichoderma gamsii, which are effective over a broad range of temperatures and humidity. This combination is said to allow Tenet to effectively a protect crops under varying environmental conditions. Tenet is approved for both organic and conventional production practices.
