The Solo 473D Backpack Sprayer is designed so only chemical-resistant parts come in contact with the formula being sprayed. This sprayer is resistant to corrosion, swelling, and shrinking or dissolving of valve or pump components when used with ag chemicals dissolved in water or oil. The tank is made of high-tensile, UV-stabilized polyethylene. Nylon web straps are padded at the shoulders, and the pump handle is adjustable for left or right hand operation.

For spot spraying, the nozzle provides a cone-shaped spray when used with the swirl plate and a pin-stream spray without the swirl plate. A 4-inch opening with a strainer allows fast and safe fillings and continuous spraying. It weighs 7 pounds when empty and delivers 0.5 gpm at 90 psi.
