The survey is one of the most comprehensive reports USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) conducts for the vegetable industry. It reports the acres planted and harvested, yield, and prices. Compared to the robust reports USDA conducts for row crops, vegetable crop surveys are few.

NASS will publish the results on February 1, 2021.

Here are a few of the key takeaways from the report released in February 2020.
