Disease tolerance is the name of the game for some of the latest varieties from Crookham Co. Two onion varieties, Red Rock and White Cloud, are tolerant to pink root and Fusarium. Red Rock demonstrates good size with excellent internal dark-red color. This onion can be stored for several months. White Cloud, which is part of the new Celebrate Series of Crookham onions, has brilliant white coloring with a globe-shaped bulb. It boasts a very good root system and a vigorous top that make it an extremely productive main season long day variety.

Two sweet corn varieties, Delectable RM and Bueno, offer resistance to common rust and Stewart’s wilt. A homozygous mid-main season bicolor, Delectable RM features large, well-filled ears and a dark-green husk. Bueno is Crookham’s newest heterozygous augmented bicolor.
