Wisconsin Is No. 2 Vegetable Producer In The U.S.

Most everyone knows that California is the No. 1 producer of vegetables in the U.S., but did you know that Wisconsin is No. 2 in spite of decreased acreage for some other top crops? The Associated Press reported that Wisconsin is the leader in growing snap peas for processing, producing 40% of the U.S. crop with about 327,000 tons in 2008.
