U.S. Apple Association Launches “Summer Selfie” Campaign

The U.S. Apple Association (USApple) is encouraging individuals to photograph their favorite summer moments with an apple in hand through its “Summer Selfie” social media and public relations campaign and post them on social media with the hashtag #AppleSummerSelfie.


The campaign is intended to celebrate the fruit’s convenience and taste during the warmest months. By sharing selfies, each week participants can win a prize from one of the campaign’s partners: Brooks Tropicals, Dizzy Pig BBQ, Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken and Tajin.

Along with the Facebook contest, USApple will launch a public relations outreach campaign to share apple summer recipes, health facts and promote its role as a summer fruit.
