The 2013 Florida Watermelon Queen Crowned

2013 Florida Watermelon Queen Brandi Harrison

Brandi Harrison was crowned the 2013 Florida Watermelon Queen during the recent 45th annual Florida Watermelon Association Convention in Orlando.

The 21 year old will be graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University this spring with a degree in communications. She is actively involved with several charitable organizations including Lee Memorial Children’s Hospital, Healthy Start Coalition, and Florida Gulf Coast’s Food Forest.

Serving as Florida Watermelon Queen, Harrison will travel the U.S. and Canada promoting the watermelon industry. She will hold the state title for one year and will represent Florida in the national competition in February 2014.
