And some varieties will perform better under certain conditions. Growers need to consider all that goes into a vegetable variety before taking a leap. Lauren Giroux, Director of Product Selection and Trialing for Johnny’s Selected Seeds, says part of her job is to listen to growers and provide guidance in selecting varieties that will suit all their needs.
