The land will be sold in eight tracts, ranging from 58 acres to 802 acres, making it possible for bidders to bid just on the land that suits their needs. “This former high-producing citrus grove is in an ideal location for growing a wide range of vegetables, with good irrigation and drainage infrastructure already in place. It’s suitable for numerous crops such as tomatoes, citrus, peppers, melons, cucumbers and green beans, with some acres already in vegetable production,” said Murray Wise, chief executive officer of auction company Murray Wise Associates LLC.

According to Wise, the property has a significantly higher percentage of plantable acreage than a property of similar size (2,294 acres of vegetable cropland) that was sold recently in Stuart for $19.5 million.
