Orchard Spray Oil Now OMRI Listed

Orchex 796 Orchard Spray Oil produced by Calumet Lubricants Co. is now an OMRI-(Organic Materials Review Institute) listed product. Orchex 796 Orchard Spray Oil is approved for use on a wide variety of applications including tree crops and nut crops.

Calumet Lubricants Co. is subsidiary of Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P., an independent producer of specialty hydrocarbon and fuels products.

While newly listed for organic production, Orchex 796 Orchard Spray Oil also provides:

Optimized molecular weight, ensuring low phyotoxicity to crops while maximizing strength;
Low surface tension, maximizing spreading coverage, while enhancing attachment of pesticide to plant surfaces; and
Low water solubility, providing resistance to rain wash-off, extending pesticide longevity, and preventing seepage into soil.
