Granny Smith is a popular multi-purpose apple. Trees have a spreading habit, and bear early. Recommended for areas with mild winters and long growing seasons due to its low chilling requirements. Its sprightly flavor is good for juice, wine, and fresh eating. Stores up to nine months.
