Topcon’s AGForm-3D Features Intuitive Water Management System Software

Topcon Precision Agriculture’s new field design, grading and survey software – AGForm-3D – is an intuitive and easy-to-use water management solution for improving irrigation and surface drainage.

The advanced software features a “unique and powerful capability for non-planar surface designs,” said Kevin Cobb, director of agriculture product management. “AGForm-3D allows an operator to create optimal design surfaces by choosing either single or dual planes, or non-planar surfaces. This capability provides greater flexibility and cost savings for earthmoving projects.”

“The software provides 3D, plan and profile views of the existing topography to help you choose the best design,” he added. “It allows an operator to break the field into multiple sections to reduce yardage, shorten haul distances, and minimize topsoil cuts.”

AGForm-3D also provides tools to calculate distances, slopes, areas, and volumes. Images can then be displayed in two views: plan and profile. It also has the ability to print both summaries and full reports.
