New Green Bean Variety From Seminis
April 2, 2014 Seminis recently announced the addition of a new green bean, Sybaris, to their repertoire of varieties.
Sybaris is a straight, medium-sized, deep green, 5.6-inch bean with very good uniformity and exceptional quality. Generally, its pods set high in the plant and off the soil surface. It features a relative maturity of 56 days, approximate sieve size distribution of 100, and is resistant to Bean common mosaic virus, and has intermediate resistance to rust. This bean is a great addition to any portfolio in the fresh or processing markets.
