This Year’s Agritourism Learning Retreat Will Be Live

The NAFDMA (the Interational Agritourism Association) announced it will host a live Agritourism Learning Retreat this summer, July 20 to 22. Two Northeast Ohio farm marketers will host — White House Fruit Farm (Canfield, OH) and Maize Valley (Hartville).

It will be open to only 100 attendees. NAFDMA will create a waiting list of registrations exceed the limits.

Available Workshops and Sessions

Just about all aspects of farm tourism, including attractions like food, animals, activities, and festivals. Other sessions will focus on management topics, from how to promote yourself to strategies to extend the season to managing staff.

Pandemic Impact

The popular, hands-on event will not provide bus transportation as it usually does, a concession to the pandemic.

“You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the locations,” the NAFDMA site states.
