Fourteen Acres Farm is managed by a team of seven farmers and producing more than 25 types of fruits and vegetables. The farm plot allows for employees to take home fresh food on a weekly basis. According to the company, the farm fuels inspiration for the “Love, Tito’s Block to Block” community garden and farm program. The mission of the program, which is now in its fourth year: “We’re turning spirits into love and goodness by growing community gardens and farms across the country, one block at a time.”

To better serve employees, Fourteen Acres Farm is transitioning to a weekly farmers’ market. Through this outlet, employees will be able to select the produce they are most interested in, as well as connect with farmers to learn recipes, cooking tips and tricks, and how the food is grown.

Speaking of food, the farm features 74 raised beds and 16 high tunnels filled with seasonal fruits and vegetables including artichokes, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, melons, mixed greens, peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and more.

This fall, Tito’s farmers will be learning how to make bio-complete compost and liquid amendments with vermicompost, establishing an in-house soil lab, and conducting crop trials with more crops.
