What Fruit Growers Have in Their Production Plans for 2026
Each year, the State of the Fruit and Nut Industry survey yields a vast amount of eye-opening data. This year is no exception. The intel gathered from growers about production plans gives a preview of what the growing season will look like. This year, survey respondents answered questions about what crops they were going to increase production in 2026 as well what they are planning to decrease or discontinue production. Among the highest net production percentage was elderberry at +44%. Among the lowest was wine grapes at -34%.
