Matching the mood of the holiday season, many farm fields across Central Florida right now are flush with the colors red and green. This is good news for Wish Farms, Plant City, FL-based berry grower and shipper. According to Gary Wishnatzki, Owner of Wish Farms, the season is off to a sweet start. “This year’s patches of cooler weather during our planting windows conditioned the plants for more consistent blooms than we experienced last season,” he stated.

In addition to increasing inventory in sweeter varieties, including the UF/IFAS-bred ‘Sweet Sensation.’ Wish Farms is launching a new campaign aimed at consumers focusing on flavor and the eating experience.

Launching in 2017, the “Life Is Sweet” campaign will encourage fans and followers on social media of Wish Farms to engage in contests and share photos. Each month of the campaign will feature its own sub-campaign.

For example: In January, Wish Farms is celebrating a #SweetStart to the New Year, featuring berry recipes, nutrition tips, and a consumer contest with a chance to win an exclusive Wish Farms infused water bottle and a Fitbit.
