Intuity is a strobilurin (Qol) fungicide, developed for the U.S. market by Valent, with a unique disease spectrum. Unlike other strobilurin chemistries, Intuity delivers strong preventive activity against Botrytis.

“Intuity was designed for crop advisors and growers who strive to be proactive in order to deliver the highest quality fruit,” says Mike Martin, Crop Marketing Manager, Grapes at Valent. “Intuity has an excellent fit in full-season programs, demonstrating strong performance.”

Intuity delivers residual protection of Botrytis bunch rot in grapes and also Botrytis gray mold in strawberries. The fungicide provides consistent suppression of powdery mildew on bunches and leaves.

Intuity, like other strobilurin fungicides, works by interfering with energy production in fungal cells. This reduces fungal growth and sporulation. Because Intuity has both translaminar and locally systemic activity, it penetrates the leaf tissue for optimal disease management.

Intuity is a member of FRAC group 11 and is best used preventively in a rotation program with non-FRAC 11 fungicides. Intuity is also registered in Florida, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and other states. New York registration is pending, as are additional labeled crops.
