Pistachio Growers To Cap Off Big Year

American pistachio growers have much to celebrate this year, with production and shipments that soared and USA Water Polo women’s team brand ambassadors who turned green to GOLD at the Olympics.

The fifth Annual American Pistachio Industry Conference, to be held Feb. 18-20 in San Diego, CA, will highlight the year’s American Pistachio Growers’ (APG) marketing activities, along with important industry information and instructive workshops.

The event kicks off with a golf tournament on Monday, Feb. 18. Following Tuesday morning’s marketing report, production and government workshops will be held in the afternoon.

The highlight of the event will surely be an evening Gala aboard the USS Midway. Guests will take in panoramic city views, tour the ship, and enjoy a sumptuous meal with special entertainment to include honoring APG veterans. A thrilling finale and “after party” with dancing in the Hangar Bay will round out the evening on this historic aircraft carrier.
