Scarlet Wonder is a Kintoki-type carrot whose skin and core are bright scarlet. It is very sweet and tender, maturing 120 days after sowing. Adelaide is a true baby carrot. Unlike most “baby carrots” harvested at an immature stage before properly filling out, Adelaide has an early maturity and forms a blunt root tip at 3 to 4 inches long. Yellow Sun features beautiful, 6 to 7 inch yellow roots with broad shoulders, a well-filled, blunt tip, and medium-tall tops. Its complex flavor is best when cooked. Atomic Red is 8 inches by 1.5 inches long with tapered bright red roots. It is high in Lypocene, a precursor to beta carotene, which is said to be a preventative of several types of cancer.
