Gran Camino is an early maturing Serrano pepper variety with extra-large fruits, 4 inches on average. The thick-walled pepper has an excellent Serrano flavor. The plant has good foliage coverage with concentrated production and good upper hold. Feroz got its name because of the great heat it provides and β good pungency with exceptional flavor. It is the first Serrano with bacterial resistance.
To the right, product manager Yoav Mendel shows off Origami, a unique cantaloupe. A derivative of a Western Shipper with very high Brix and a unique flavor profile, it has excellent internal quality and is adapted for fresh-cut. βItβs grower friendly with firm, dark-orange flesh,β he says. It delivers quality even in the most challenging slots.
