Biquinho Red (Seeds by Design)
‘Biquinho Red’ is a hot pepper that grows to a 1-inch pod and registers 500 to 1,000 on the Scoville unit. It is teardrop shaped and perfect for pickling and fresh market. Matures in 90 to 95 days.
The ‘Biquinho Yellow’ pepper is teardrop in shape. The average pod length is 1 inch. It’s popular at fresh market, ideal for pickling, and registers 500 to 1,000 on the Scoville unit. Matures in 90 to 95 days.
‘Captain F1’ is a sweet bell pepper that is well suited to open field conditions. The open plant architecture and slightly extended crown set create the opportunity for the blocky, dark-green fruit to reach extra-large and jumbo sizes while keeping consistent shape. Matures in 72 days.
Bred by Paul Zamudio, ‘Chametla’ is a jalapeno pepper adapted to warm-to-cold conditions. It exhibits a high-yield potential, continues setting, and has good fruit quality.
Our Cornitos, or “little horns,” are smaller versions of our traditional Italian ‘Corno di Toro’, or bull’s horn peppers ‘Carmen’ and ‘Escamillo’. The trio of ‘Cornito Giallo’, ‘Cornito Rosso’, and ‘Cornito Arancia’ are all of similar size, productive, and very attractive. Most of all, they are of superior eating quality. Excellent as snacks eaten out of hand, sliced into salads, fried, and roasted. They are widely adapted and perform well both outdoors and in high tunnels. Matures in 75 to 80 days.
‘Goddess’ is a Hungarian sweet banana pepper that produces heavy sets of early maturing, uniform, cylindrical, yellow fruit. Ideal for fresh market and processing. Matures in 65 to 70 days.
‘Godiva’ is a Hungarian sweet banana pepper. It is a productive plant with heavy concentrated set of uniform fruits. Ideal for fresh and processing markets. Matures in 70 days.
‘Mercer’ is a hybrid bell pepper that is well adapted to the Northeast, (where Phytophthora is an expected problem). Plants are vigorous, sturdy, have good cover and high yield potential of good quality fruit. Matures in 75 days.

This hybrid bell pepper provides good cover and produces high-quality, dark-green peppers. ‘Placepack’ is positioned for main season, spring, and fall. You are assured of a high percentage of four-lobed peppers with ‘Placepack’. Matures in 75 days.

‘Prism’ is a sweet midi bell pepper that matures from light green to orange, and then to red. It can be harvested at all stages of maturity for a multicolored mix on each plant. The midi bell size is perfect for stuffed peppers, eating fresh in salads, and recipes that call for a small portion of bell pepper. Plants are early maturing and highly productive. Matures green 60 to 65 days from transplant and red (ripe) 75 to 80 days from transplant.
A widely adapted green-to-red pepper that is well suited for the early red markets. ‘Redfish’ has a strong vigorous plant with large fruit. Disease package: BLS (0-10), Pc. Matures in 76 days.
‘Sailfish F1’ is an early blocky sweet bell pepper. It’s high quality and quick to mature from medium-green to a beautiful dark-red color (in open field production). The uniform, healthy plants hold fruit high off the ground and offer leading disease resistance. Matures in 65 days.
‘Shishito’ is a hot green pepper that is sweet and thin-walled. Peppers can grow 3 to 4 inches long. A favorite at the fresh market. Matures in 60 to 80 days.
‘SVHJ5816’ has smooth, attractive fruits that average 3.5 to 4 inches. They are a bit plumper than a typical average jalapeno. The medium-large plants have a strong canopy and a high yield potential. A concentrated harvest, adapted for the East Coast from Canada to Florida. Available as untreated seeds. Matures in 70 days.
‘SVPB4272’ is a green-to-red bell pepper suited for open field production in the Southeast U.S. The fruits are large, blocky, and uniform with early maturity to a brilliant red color. It makes this sweet pepper an excellent choice to use as a red-colored bell pepper for the fresh market. ‘SVPB4272’ has X10R technology for bacterial spot resistance, improving yield and fruit quality under high disease pressure. An early to mid-maturing variety.
Bred by Victor Jesus Dominguez, ‘Tapioca’ is an attractive, blocky, yellow pepper. It has a high-yield potential, exceptional plant cover, and minimal sunburn. The excellent fruit quality displays a high percentage of four lobes and smooth shoulders. Well suited for California’s growing region.
