(Famous) Themis Michailides, a University of California (UC) plant pathologist from the Kearney Research and Extension Center, and UC Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Farm Advisor Janie Hasey will show growers the symptoms of these diseases and discuss what we know to date on the cause, spread, and management.

There will be two programs:
■ Sutter County, 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Buckley Ranch. From Yuba City, take Highway 99 south and turn east onto Sacramento Avenue. Follow the UCCE blue signs.
■ Colusa County, 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Stegall Brothers Orchards. It will be located at the northeast corner of Highway 45 and Reese Road, just north of the Colusa Casino.

Both workshops are scheduled for April 2, but will be held April 3 in case of rain.
