Lipman Adds Branscomb Produce To Its Lineup

Immokalee, FL-based Lipman has acquired Branscomb Produce of Winston-Salem, NC. The newly acquired company will join Lipman’s network of research and development, farming, packing, processing, repacking, and procurement solutions.

Branscomb’s commodities include tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, onions, squash, cabbage, and lime.

Eddie Branscomb, his son Ben and Al Yancey will take on an expanded role with Lipman. “We are thrilled to add Branscomb to our Lipman team,” said Kent Shoemaker, CEO of Lipman. “Eddie Branscomb and Al Yancey are respected tomato industry veterans.”

Lipman commands a large percentage of the fresh tomato industry with 23 locations throughout North America.
