Tokita Seeds’ Tomatoberry tomato won third place in the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award 2008, a first time accomplishment for a variety developed by an Asian seed company. Held in February in Germany, Fruit Logistica showcased a broad spectrum of top international exhibitors and trends in the international fresh produce business.

Tomatoberry is a heart-shaped, deep red tomato that boasts a pleasant, sweet taste. The fruit also is very nutritious, due to its high level of lycopene and a wide range
of amino acids.

Tokita Seeds also introduced its latest addition to its tomato seed line, Sun Grape. Produced on a vigorous plant, this grape tomato also boasts great flavor, has Brix values between 8 and 10, and produces fruit with few cracks.
