Asfertglobal Looks to Grow Presence in U.S. Ag Biocontrols Market

Portugal-based Asfertglobal, a leading player in the production of microorganism-based biofertilizers, biostimulants, and biocontrol solutions, took another step in its international expansion strategy with its first commercial operations in the U.S. market.

With the aim of leading the biofertilizer market in this country, Asfertglobal’s ambition is to expand, in the short term, the entire U.S. territory, reinforcing its position in this strategically important market.

At the same time, the company announced the first OMRI certification of the product Cuperdem (organic Copper Heptagluconate) and plans to certify four other products in the short term. These are Eckosil (bioavailable Silicon), Kiplant VS04 (Chitosan-based biostimulant), and two biofertilizers, composed of Bacterial consortium – Kiplant Allgrip and Kiplant iNmass.

As a result of investment in R&D, in partnership with the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon, Asfertglobal has the ability to create unique and innovative solutions which helps to practice more sustainable agriculture that is more ecological and consistent, with zero impact on the environment.
