By creating a virtual seed company and case studies for each functional area, the program content is delivered in a very interactive way. The course gives participants a broad understanding of the major aspects of a seed company’s operations and cross-departmental knowledge of best practices for profitability. The class is taught by widely-respected industry executives with additional help of industry experts participating as guest speakers.

Seed Business 101SM is offered by the UC-Davis Seed Biotechnology Center.  It was created with input from industry executives to accelerate the careers of promising new employees and young managers. The course has been offered since the fall of 2010 and has already been attended by over 180 seed professionals.

Early-bird, discounted registration ends Aug 15. Or contact Sally Mohr at [email protected].
