Ocean Spray Campaign Celebrates Growers

This spring, Ocean Spray is launching the Heritage campaign, created to educate consumers about the cranberry and grapefruit growers who make up the Ocean Spray cooperative. The growers’ personal stories and photos will be featured on cranberry and grapefruit product labels and online at www.oceanspray.com. The campaign launches in conjunction with Ocean Spray’s 80th anniversary.

One of the families consumers will meet is the May family of British Columbia, who has been harvesting cranberries for three generations.

“We will keep this farm in our family for generations to come, because we see ourselves as stewards of the land,” said grower-owner Todd May. “It’s our job to not only produce the best fruit today, but to ensure our farm continues yielding quality crops for tomorrow,”
