Supareil Almond
The Supareil Almond has the potential to earn up to 20% more dollars per pound. The latest update from Blue Diamond reinforces what other buyers have said: “With the way this looks, we will pay the Nonpareil price for the Supareil.” The Supareil pollinates Nonpareil, Carmel, Aldrich, Fritz, Sonora, Price, and Wood Colony and harvests 10 to 14 days after Nonpareil. Its large kernel resembles Nonpareil in shape, color, and taste and has a well-sealed, worm-resistant shell. This new Burchell variety has been under evaluation for more than 15 years with the goal of potentially providing growers with premium pricing and yielding more dollars. A Burchell Nursery exclusive. USPP#21,934.
