Oxbo International Corp. And Ploeger Agro B.V. Merge

Two of the world’s leading manufacturers of specialized harvesting equipment, Oxbo International Corp. And Ploeger Agro B.V. have joined forces to create the Ploeger Oxbo Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of harvesting equipment and related products for specialized agricultural markets.
Oxbo, a U.S. based company with more than 400 employees, and Ploeger, a company of 140 located in Europe, plan to use their new dynamic to pursue new markets in Brazil, China, and Eastern Europe.

“After 20 years of collaborating informally, this new partnership positions both of our companies for a brighter future,” says Gary Stich, president of Oxbo. Ad Ploeger, general manager of Ploeger Agro, echoes his enthusiasm, saying,  “We will build on our individual strengths to form new capabilities together.”

Both companies will continue operations as usual. International markets, however, will see products with new names and brands represented by the Ploeger Oxbo Group.
