Pear Bureau Northwest has joined with the pop rock band Honor Society in a partnership designed to generate excitement for USA Pears across the nation.
The bureau is working with Honor Society as a tour sponsor to promote USA pears through a comprehensive integrated marketing program.
“Pivotal to the mix is an exciting contest that allows entrants a chance to ‘pear up’ with Honor Society with ticket giveaways and special chances to win a meet and greet with the band as they tour North America,” says Dennis James, director of marketing for Pear Bureau Northwest.
Grocery retail partners have signed on to promote pears as well as the consumer contests taking place in each metropolitan area Honor Society will hit on its tour. Radio and print advertising for all the concert dates will feature the USA Pears name, log, and website through the end of 2009. Additional special promotions and contests surrounding Honor Society and USA Pears are planned through December.
